American Pet Professionals, (APP), is a multiple award-winning National Business Networking, Educational, and Multimedia Organization for the Pet Industry. Educating, Uniting, Referring, Connecting, and Helping all Pet Professionals since February of 2009!

The membership-based organization offers in-person networking events nationwide with vetted expert speakers offering their expertise on many different topics to help individuals and businesses grow, work together, and unite the pet industry.  The pet industry on demand for our members!  We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the trends in and out of the industry with our educational webinars. 

We have hosted over 150+ in-person networking and educational events for pet professionals since our inception. In addition to in-person networking events, American Pet Professionals has hosted hundreds of live educational webinars for our members; hosts multiple live networking and mastermind events for members monthly, membership resources, downloadable content, office hours, and direct introductions to others in the industry for our members.

American Pet Professionals sends out a weekly public Pet Events Newsletter to 20,500+ pet parents and professionals that showcases upcoming pet events, news, and information about the pet industry. This has been landing in email inboxes since November 2008! 

We also have a Live Video show Digging Into the Pet Industry™ where we interview our members and dig into how they got started, what advice they have and what they have learned along the way.  Our show is also a podcast, so if you can’t watch live or the replays on Youtube, you can listen on the go.   

APP, also works regularly with many rescue groups throughout the country and features adoptable pets in their newsletter each week.

Featured regularly in Pet Age Magazine, Pet Product News International Magazine, Pet Business Magazine, Pets+ Magazine, Dogster Magazine, Modern Dog Magazine, and numerous newspapers, blogs, and TV stations throughout the country. Over the past 15+ years, American Pet Professionals has become a multiple award-winning organization by being voted the Best Networking Organization, first place 3 – years in a row, 2012, 2013, and 2014.  APP has received accolades from other business organizations and even town officials, and Pet Age Magazine named APP president, Nancy Hassel, Women of Influence in the pet industry in 2018.
